Dr. Chris Sandford

Chris Sanford is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Idaho State University; his responsibilities include teaching graduate courses, conducting research and mentoring of students in clinical activities. Chris completed Bachelor’s degrees in audiology and psychology (1997) and a Master’s degree in audiology (1999) at Brigham Young University followed by a PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Washington (2006) and a postdoctoral fellowship at Boystown National Research Hospital (2009). Chris’ primary clinic and research interests include investigations of middle-ear assessment techniques with goals of improving diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders.
